Training on mats can be supplemented and thus more advanced by using additional training accessories which bring into the training diversity and increases the level of difficulty. Pilates (P)
The Pilates method works from within the body towards the muscles on the surface. The training is designed in such a way as to help individuals develop a balanced muscular-skeletal system, strong, flexible musculature, better posture and optimum physical and emotional well-being. With Pilates we develop beautifully shaped and correctly toned muscles. As a modified form of training, Pilates is used by physiotherapists during their patient’s rehabilitation, prenatal training and as an osteoporosis prevention. The exercises are frequently used by top athletes as a supplement to their training (e.g. golfers, tennis players, dancers, …).. Pilates joga (PJ)
At first sight Pilates Yoga looks just as like as the classical yoga since it consists of all traditional yoga asanas. The training is accompanied by music while asanas are dynamically connected and the training finishes with asanas where working muscles are stretched and relaxed. The training is based on isometric muscular contraction, which means that we persist in a certain position for a longer period of time. The main goal of the training is to gain the muscular power of the upper and lower part of the body, and especially to strengthen the abdominal region, which results in an upright posture, prevents injury during sports activities and supports internal organs. In everyday life, it has a positive influence on vitality. With its approach Pilates yoga successfully changes the beliefs of westerners that more difficult asanas may only be performed by people who subject their lives to this principle and become professional yogis. Pilates Body Technique is an innovative Pilates technique developed in Croatia. It differs from the traditional Pilates since it includes aerobic training which many long for in the classical type of Pilates training. Due to its intensity and since the training demands very precise movements, the training lasts only 45 minutes. It differs from the traditional Pilates mainly in the method of training, which in Pilates Body Technique includes aerobic training and thus enables faster body forming and reshaping. At the same time we are able to perform a very positive training for cardio-vascular system, we accelerate the consumption of excessive fat and thus reshape our bodies. |
